New book swap at Acton Central station!

Over the past few weeks we’ve been helping people from Churchfield Community Association in Acton to help them to set up a book swap shelf in Acton Central station, which is on the Overground. We helped them to get a shelf and provided some books and now there’s a lovely new book swap in West London:

So if you’re passing through Acton Central station any time soon, why not grab a book, or trade one that you already have!

If you’re a local and want to get involved, then pop the Churchfield Community Association an email here.

It’s an amazing idea! However I use a portal (sooqini.com) where I can buy books which I need naming my price or selling these I need no more.

Thanks to Chris for his help and advice. The Acton Central bookswap is now going through more than 200 books a week – so far not nearly enough swapping but obviously a lot of people picking up all sorts of books: children’s go well and so do factual. I still don’t know who donated an illustrated guide to sex toys – nor who borrowed it. Strangely, it hasn’t come back!
